So....I dug out my old Powerpoint Presentation that I was working on the beginning of last year.
Really, REALLY feel that I am supposed to teach others how to save money every month.
Saddened after getting in to the first few pages, to find pictures of our long lost friend and dog Max, whom we had to put down the first of May. Max was such a GREAT dog...and friend. Max was the kind of dog who influenced a lot of animal people to get a dog as well. RIP Max.
Of course, now that we have two, yes I sad TWO Scottie puppies, they have some HUGE paws to fill. Maddy and Monty are in their "terrible two" stage right now and are getting into EVERYTHING. What one doesn't know to do, the other has written the book about it. SO, I have two....to keep track of.
As I sit here trying to update my blog, I hear them in the background fussing with each other.
OK,
So....when I got into taking a look at my old presentation, I really got ambitious enough with it that before I knew what was going on, SIX hours had gone by and I had worked myself right through to the wee hours of the morning. Owen found me still at the computer at 4 am....wondering what I had been up to. Me, I just shrugged my shoulders and said "Had to do it I guess."
All in all, two days without sleep working on getting things together.
I've got to. I just committed to folks at my church that I was kicking off my first class Saturday, February 27th at 9 am. Have had several people say they would like to come. If all things go well and it fits everyone's schedule, I will be teaching the class then holding a "coupon swap" once a week so everyone can get the full advantage of super shopping and paying nearly nothing for what they want to buy.
(Wow, just glanced at the calendar and noticed that I have basically one month to get my act together.) ONE month?! Oh man, I'm getting nervous.
If all goes well, I suspect I will learn a few things as well in the process.
Even still, my powerpoint is calling my name.
Here goes nothing.
